Apple watch owner receives his lost watch after six months

Recently, a man who lost his Apple Watch in Huntington Beach, California while surfing was pleased following a surprise that came by his door this week. There have been reports that the man, Robert Bainter misplaced his Apple smartwatch six months ago and found it this month in working condition.

Sources say that Bainter was surfing at a beach when he lost his Apple smartwatch last year when a big wave took away his beloved watch from him. But after he got his watch back, Bainter interacted with the news channels and reported that the watch is his “good luck charm” as he uses the watch to know about the detailed information regarding the location where he was surfing.

“This thing has been my good luck charm. I would use it quite often to show the surf and how fast you were going. It would even show you where you were on the beach,” said Bainter.
Until “a huge wave came and you know I was loving it, rode it and then I pick up my arm and like ‘Oh My God,’ what just happened.”

A leading newspaper reported that after Bainter lost his smartwatch, he turned on Lost Mode from Find My iPhone app so that he may find it anytime soon. Enabling the feature, the display of the smartwatch showed the owner’s phone number and a message which says that the watch is lost and the owner is trying to search the device.
Sources say that Bainter did not get any information regarding his lost watch until now when he received an unknown call that described his watch and conveyed that it has been found.

The person who returned back the smartwatch to Bainter reported that he found the watch 3 miles north from the place where Bainter lost it. The watch is in working condition, according to reports.
