PC gaming hardware company Razer will be making a toaster soon: Reports

Following thousands of likes on Facebook and dozens of tattoos that fans made, the dream of a toaster from PC gaming hardware company Razer has become a reality for the fans.

There was this joke that started in 2013 which ended up creating “Give Us the Razer Toaster Please” on Facebook. The joke was that the Razer fans were demanding a toaster from the company back in 2013 and Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan at that time said that it would only be possible if the Facebook page“Give Us the Razer Toaster Please”  will receive 1 million likes.

The prank which started years before has become a reality now, and the PC gaming hardware company will now manufacture the first ever grade kitchen appliance only for gamers.

There have been reports that since 2013, the Razer fans showed continued interest and support for manufacturing the kitchen appliance and also got tattoos of the toaster on their body.

Our news sources have reported that Tan on Monday liked the Facebook page and confirmed in one of the posts over Facebook that the company will soon start the manufacturing of the Razer toaster.

“Alright — I didn’t think these guys were going to make it — but they did,” Tan wrote. “Well… what can I say. I’ve just officially liked their page — and I’m going to put together my team of designers and engineers. It will take a few years — but I’ll be sure to share the progress — and make it a community affair. A Razer Toaster — For Razer Toaster Lovers. By Razer Toaster Lovers.”

“There is no internal information yet about the toaster, however, there was, at one time, a prop that could burn the company logo onto toast,” said Kevin Allan, senior PR manager for Razer
